Entering New Categories
In the phone case market, OtterBox rules to roost. Rather than rest on their laurels, they looked to new categories to goose their growth. They targeted mobile gaming and kids for expansion and built a suite of products to compete in those spaces. To sell the new stuff internally, our team was asked to create a set of videos to present at our annual sales summit. I was the primary Art Director and Copywriter for the gaming video, an homage to the common gaming trope of the inventory window for swapping out armor and amulets. I was a contributing Art Director and Copywriter for the kids piece, a play on a Pixar wonderland.
